All these components act as a functional unit controlled by a highly sensitive nervous system comprising the brain, spinal cord, millions of nerve cells and nerve fibres. The human body is designed to move evolving originally from a hunter/gather lifestyle. Modern day man is typically more sedentary as a result of technological and scientific advances. This can have a huge impact on our physiological, musculoskeletal and neurological health and well-being and essentially on how we move.
